I was perusing through the big book of ads, and mixed up in all the shiny pages looking for my money were some cigar reviews!!

Anyway, the Figurado Reviews in the December 2007 edition of CA kind of surprised me...  For those that don't subscribe here's the top 3 in order:

1.) Oliva Serie V (Torp)

2.) Monte #2

3.) Fuente Fuente Opus X (Perfecxion #2)

Yes, you read that correctly, the Oliva Serie V Torp rated higher than the coveted Opus X (and Monte #2)!!  I have yet to try the Oliva Serie V, but now I'm intrigued to do so...  I can't say I'm to surprised, Oliva have always been excellent quality and taste, let's not forget the Master Blends series that they've rolled out...

So, as I'm not surprised it was Oliva that did it, I am a bit surprised that a lower cost Torp was able to beat not only the Monte #2 (Habana!) but also the highly saught after Opus X!!!

Anyway, I'd really be interested in reading some of your reviews on the Oliva Serie V...

Location: Scotia N.Y.		Corey, you've got to try the Oliva V! Does it beat the Opus X? I dunno, but for the money it's one hell of a smoke! To be honest with you. I'm very surprised Oliva doesn't charge a whole lot more for the cigars. They could double the price and get it...it's that good...IMHO
